CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

from shareholders who have an opportunity to raise issues either informally or formally before or at the general meetings
of shareholders. The Board solicits and understands the views of the shareholders through the dialogue. The notice of the
general meetings of shareholders is dispatched to shareholders, together with explanatory notes or a circular on items of
special business, at least 14 days before the meeting for ordinary resolutions and 21 days before the meeting for special
resolutions. There are separate resolutions on each substantially separate issue. All directors attend general meetings of
shareholders. The Chairmen of the ARC, NC and RC will normally be available at the shareholders’ meetings to answer
those questions relating to the work of these committees. The external auditors of the Company will also normally be
present to address shareholders’ queries about the conduct of audit and the preparation and content of the auditors’ report.
